15 Apr The land of right-hand point breaks
OK, so you’re like, “what does that mean”? If you don’t know, then you’re probably a beginner. That’s ok, there’s surf here for you too. But the better surfers LOVE these kinds of peeling waves so they can ride down the line of the wave as it breaks. However, there’s usually some rocks involved, so the point breaks are not for beginners. And these being right-hand point breaks, means those standing on their boards in a normal stance (left foot in front), especially like these waves as they can turn more easily with the front side of their body facing the wave. So until you’re comfortable surfing over rocks, hit one of the many gently sloping beach breaks. Morocco is also one of the best destinations in the world to learn how to surf!
